Personally, I think Deirdre's the hero of that particular event, but I know she'd deny it... so I shall accept your compliments gratefully, my love. I love that you think that of me.

Better today that I was yesterday. What Joe said helped a lot. If he can say that, it tells me that it really wasn't my fault. Not all of me is ready to believe that yet, I guess, but I'm getting there. Of course, not being my fault doesn't make it any less devastating to all concerned. I still saw, and heard... everything. More than anyone ever should, and I wasn't the only one.

You are a hero, Spectre. You're my hero. You saved my family. Deirdre can be a hero too. I've always known that both of you were.

No one expects you to be perfectly okay. I'm glad you're getting there. You inspire me, Babe. I know you saw and heard things no one should have to. What happened was beyond devastating. But you haven't let it break you. I love you for that and so many other things.
