To Those in the Know
I found old pictures of Mumsie!! Who is probably going to kick me for using the word 'old'...
I love you, Mums!

Wee Mumsie!! Awwww, she's so cute!

She's the one on the ground pouting. My Uncle Mike is beside her. He was the only one out of them who stuck by her after Bernard left.

I circled her. You can't see, but she has fantastic pins.

Looking fierce!

Wow, Mums.

With a doggy!

All I got when I asked for an explanation to this one is 'that's a story for another time'. OKay then!

Here she is, fascinating oldies...

She informs me that this is her father, whom she was obviously still speaking to here.

Everyone take a second to exclaim over how COMPLETELY ADORABLE my brother Joe is here!!

Having a giggle!

And here she is a few years ago when my wonderful siblings bought her a well deserved trip to Greece. You're amazing, Mums.

Speaking of amazing, here's my little boy!! Hiding from the sun, apparently!

He's getting so big!! I weep like a girly man.

This is my husband. On a German magazine. With an Australian guitar, apparently. Seriously. I have sex with him. Look at him shine! Look at him shine! *squeal*

Sometimes I have sex with this mook too, but only in a pinch. Haha, see what I did there?!
The past few days have been quiet. Peter bought a trampoline and I can do acrobatics on it and it's really fun until I realise I'm forty-one. And then it's still fun, it's just a guilty kind of fun! And I showed Caleb how to do some of it and now I fear I've created a trampoline monster... And James is badgering me about getting one too, but the backyard doesn't have room for it unless we rip out most of the garden. He's three, he also wants a spaceship, a pony and a pet dinosaur. I'm not evil for keeping the garden instead of a trampoline, right?!
RIGHT?! Daddy crisis! Help!
I love you, Mums!

Your son, your husband, and your backup sex-hand are all gorgeous as well. Thank you, Thomas.

About the trampoline, I don't think it's wrong to not give him every single thing he asks for. You use the garden to grow herbs and spices, it's not just because you rather like it. Which you do, but that isn't the only reason you have it. I don't think Peter will take exception to visits from any of you so James can join in on the trampoline fun. He does live ten minutes away... It's closer than walking to the playground.

My goodness, but Mums is so exceptionally beautiful. I love seeing photos like these. It makes me feel more connected to all the things I wasn't around for. Like tiny little Joe! So cute! Though I have a feeling he's still tall for his age there. Lumberjacks...
James is getting so big! He looks more like you every day! And you... you're adorable!

Tiny Joe is adorable! And Mums was and is a looker. I whistled at her and she gave me pancakes. She's like a siren! What gives pancakes! If you want, I'll dig out all the old photo albums and bore you for HOURS with "this is me in the yard. This is me with a stick. This is me poking Adam with the stick. This is Adam kicking me." It'll be great!
Honey, make him stop!!

Oooh, Mums is the best kind of siren! I'll have to try that. And darling, you and your albums could never bore me. That poking-Adam-with-the-stick story actually sounds very entertaining!
Somehow, I don't think James will listen to me on that one...

OKay! I'll show them to you and then we can have sex after! I like making plans... And making up for being so very far away :(
Yeah. He's a bit insistent on this whole 'growing up' thing. Sigh. But he's so incredible. He just floors me every day. They all do.

Ah, photos and sex. Brilliant night in!
That's the downside, if one could call it that, of our having such brilliant, precocious kids. They've all got it, from James to Thomas to Aislinn. It must be something in all the Prog Metal they're exposed to...

I think so too!
Hah! Must be!

I love the shot from Greece, too. That one's really got something.

It was about freedom. She finally got to see the world and it meant a lot to her.
no subject
That's awesome. I'm so glad she finally got to do that.
no subject
Me too. My siblings are wonderful for doing it for her.

I can just imagine what crazy adventures Lavinia was relating to the olds there...

Hahhaa! Probably something scandelous! She does like to do that. I think those are her in-laws from her first marriage. Which is why they look stuck up!
