You're quite right. In that situation, it's imperative that our children learn the right responses to things. I'm sure James will take away a very important impression of what it means to be the bigger person, and do the right thing. And unfortunately, what it looks like when someone does the wrong thing. But at least he won't have any question that it was wrong. I only wish they could keep their innocence longer, you know?
