Ruminations of an Afterlife

I told my mother and she very nearly knocked me over in excitement. But then she asked the dreaded questions. Like, when is this happening, and where is it happening and are you going to spend the wedding night with both of them (?!?!) and then she said 'I don't have to get you a toaster, right?' Questions are fun. Help.

Are we telling other people now? Is this soon. I'm not freaking out. I almost promise I'm not freaking out.

Tomorrow Mums and I are travelling up to Bristol. To see Adam. He's going to faint or something. But I want him there, or...at least to know he can be there. It doesn't feel fair otherwise. He's the only family member I have who hasn't seen me. Even my stupid, deserter of a father had seen me, even though he thinks it was a dream (thank the ghoulies).

I still haven't seen Peter. What should I tell him?

Heh. I suppose it wasn't the best idea while at the grocery store, to point to a magazine that someone was reading and squeal "That's my boyfriend!!!" But it was true, it was my Spectre, and it was out of my mouth before I thought about it beyond the 'yay' part. And of course the girls who were reading said magazine just looked at me like I was a crazy person and edged away. At least they didn't squeal 'ASH' and attack me or something, I guess... So I left before they called security. And I bought Mara's popcorn somewhere else!

She's never had popcorn before today. But I think now she wants to bathe in it. Which would be kind of itchy, but whatever makes you happy!!

So...My brave, wonderful, sexy, awesome, beautiful, amazing Spectre went to see Robert.

The Abbot is a Templar. And Peter, apparently you've had a flag on you since you started working at Melk Abbey. Robert says the Bishop might be unaware of that, because it would have been the Austrian Templars, mostly based in Vienna AKA Catholic Central. But Brunhardt would know that. They have files or...something. He said they might have been dressed in plainclothes and attending your masses. Why Robert didn't fucking say this before is anyone's goddamn guess. But, Peter, if you had spies in your parish, you should be careful who Dietrich talks to back home... Robert says Dietrich is safe. But his friends might not be.

All of that being said, Brunhardt was released to give Holden information on you. So they know you're alive. But since the information he has on you would be quite limited...I'm confused as to what they're intending to find out. Robert says he'll keep watching.

I hope it comes to nothing. And he says that the Templar were none too pleased to find out about the Abbot's disgusting appetite for children. At least that's something. So, hopefully they'll keep him from doing it to anyone else.
