Oct. 1st, 2007 07:04 pmUh...so can someone remind me that saying "I'll pound you" to someone who DOESN'T know I'm not really very...poundy...is probably not the best idea? Because I traumatised Flynn for a split second, but at least then me traumatising him was a reason to eat the pancakes I was offering him. And I think now he knows I won't pound anyone who's not..you know...an arse. Or I hope he does.
He was telling me all sort of things about Al. About how he was usually pretty nice and it was only since Flynn had outside attention that he turned nasty. Flynn said that Al was nowhere to be seen when Flynn got back from being with us the other day and he did everything by himself and went straight to bed, not worried about not eating because he'd eaten here. And then then next day he got up and worked...again by himself because Al wasn't there, and Al showed up a half hour before the bar opened and informed him he'd be working without 'payment' which means he didn't get any dinner and then Al made him move all sorts of heavy boxes the next day on an empty stomach and that was after he had to like...do kitcheny things to food. He says he thinks Al did it on purpose so he could find reasons to make things worse, and that's when he quit. Poor guy. I just want to hug him, but that might traumatise him more than my fake threats. He seems okay though. Better, anyway. And Mum totally stole him from me and made him go shopping with her. Which means Abby went with them because Mum doesn't have money to be spending on other people. But bless her for wanting to anyway.
