So, I'm back. Probably most of you know now anyway, but in case word didn't travel all that far...everything worked like I thought it would work. Mostly. I disappeared in the end, anyway. A lot happened in between, which I'll tell you about if you really want to know, as I've never been one to keep secrets. Thing is, you probably don't want to know.
We've got a problem. The Templar knew way more than they should. They knew names of people they couldn't have gotten from Caoilfhionn. They knew my Spectre's name. And if, by some odd chance, she DID know Spectre she would also know he was an angel. But they made no mention of him being a 'heavenly being' or whatever it is they call angels and demons. I believe we have a spy.
The names mentioned were (there are a lot of them...): Peter, Aly, Anna, Amanda, Sharna, Damien, Scarlett, Nancy, Chloe, Yvonne, Lee, Evey, Pierre, Tamm, Kay, Rhianwyn, Spectre, Mary, Josie, Ry, Abby, Rolf, Stuart, Stephie, Svetlana, Kat, Kait, Renee, Deirdre, David, Christina, William, Amaris (?!), Gavin (a lot) and Lavannah.
I think we can safely conclude that the spy is not someone they mentioned. I don't think they're smart enough to try to 'throw us off the scent' especially when they had no way of knowing I'd disappear like that. I trust my family without a doubt. They wouldn't ever sell Abby out, nor do they KNOW about the Templars really. And I know it's not Tasha either. She would never betray her family, nor does she have any love for the Templars. I don't feel like pointing fingers. It's a horrible thing to do. But what Robert did to Peter...to all of us...has me on edge. They're trying to prove Peter is the Antichrist. If they get proof (which I am less worried about, as he is NOT hence...proof will be difficult) Dragonetti said their efforts will increase. They'll start rounding up angels and demons and trying to enforce the power of the church. And that is dangerous. More dangerous than they are right now.
So be careful. I'm not saying don't trust anyone. Just...be careful who you do trust, okay?
